Overview
BrightClient can be accessed in two ways. For day-to-day client work, it is built directly into your Bright products and works in the background whenever you search for or save client data.
BrightClient is also accessible as its own website through BrightHub, where Hub members with Admin or Owner roles can view and manage all client data directly, outside of any specific product workflow. (https://hub.brightsg.com)
Two Ways to Access BrightClient
| Access route | Best for | Who can use it |
| Through a connected Bright product (e.g. BrightManager, BrightAP, BrightBooks) | Day-to-day client work within a specific product | All users with access to the relevant Bright product |
| Directly via BrightHub (https://hub.brightsg.com) | Viewing and managing all client data in one place, outside of a specific product task | BrightHub members with Admin or Owner roles only |
Accessing BrightClient Through a Bright Product
This is the most common route for everyday use. Once BrightClient is enabled on your account, it works seamlessly within your Bright products, you do not need to do anything differently to access it.
How it works
- Log in to your Bright product as normal.
- Navigate to a client creation or client search screen.
- BrightClient powers the search automatically. As you type a client name, results from BrightClient appear in a dropdown.
- Selecting a client or saving a new one reads from and writes to BrightClient in the background.
Accessing BrightClient via BrightHub
BrightClient is accessible as its own website through BrightHub. This gives you a direct view of all your client data, including client records, contacts, and addresses, without needing to be working within a specific product.
| ⚠️ Access is restricted by role |
| Access to BrightClient through BrightHub is available to BrightHub members with Admin or Owner roles only. If you do not have one of these roles, you will need to access BrightClient through your connected Bright products. |
| Contact your practice administrator if you need your BrightHub role updated. |
How to access BrightClient via BrightHub
- Log in to BrightHub using your Bright account credentials (https://hub.brightsg.com)
- Navigate to Integrations from the BrightHub menu.
- Select Open BrightClient
- Your practice's client data will be displayed, showing all client records, contacts, and addresses held in BrightClient.
What you can do in BrightClient via BrightHub
- View all business client and individual client records for your practice.
- View and manage contacts and person records.
- View and manage addresses, including address history.
- See which Bright products are linked to each client record.
| 📋 Note |
| BrightClient via BrightHub is a view and management tool. New client records cannot be created directly from BrightHub , clients are created through your connected Bright products. |
Permissions Summary
| Role | Access to BrightClient via BrightHub | Access through connected Bright products |
| BrightHub Admin or Owner | Full access , can view and manage all client data | Full access through any enabled Bright product |
| BrightHub member (other roles) | No access via BrightHub | Access through connected Bright products as normal |
